From TLC Participant to Missionary – Tosin Alabi
November 12, 2024My journey with The Kingdom Projects began in 2010 as an enthusiastic undergraduate at Obafemi Awolowo University. I was passionate about missions and evangelism but didn’t know where to start.
Attending the “From Campus to the World” seminar that year was a turning point for me. It ignited my path in global missions, and since then, God has guided me every step of the way.
During university holidays, I volunteered at the TKP regional office in lbadan, where I gained invaluable experience in missions. In 2011, I was entrusted with coordinating “Touching Lives at Christmas” in llesa, Osun State. With God’s help, I was the coordinator of this initiative until l graduated.
After completing my studies and NYSC in 2015, I joined TKP as a full-time missionary, serving in various mission fields and organizing major events like the National Conference of Fellowship of Africa Christian Teachers in Abuja. In 2017, my wife and I were sent to pioneer TLC in Kigali, Rwanda, a mission we accomplished by God’s grace until 2018. The following year, I became the TKP prayer chaplain and moved to Australia to coordinate TKP’s efforts there.
Looking back, I see God’s hand guiding me as an undergraduate student up to my current roles. Mission work is a journey, and it requires continuous growth and commitment from all mission stakeholders.
